modify editor toolbar

I want to replicate ipb wysiwyg editor as it is much cleaner, better laid out and sleek. How can I replicate this easily?

What does it look like? An image would help.

I suppose you could modify the clientscript/ckeditor/skins/kama/images/sprites.png image to have the same background color (instead of white) and you would get a similar looking editor.
