showthread width help

hey guys been a while.but anyway to the point
ive messed about with my navbar and logo to get it how i want. one side to the other.but now im wanting to manualy adjust the width of the showthread.php tables
as you can see on the link below its realy squeezed after i modifyed my navbar and style vars. how can i change this manual to whateva size i want. see demo here: http://heardthebeat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1

You need to change the size of the message window in stylevars:Message Area Width (pixels)
(This value allows you to specify the width in pixels of the text box used for all message posting in vBulletin)or in your postbit template set the width of this<div id="post_message_$post[postid]">
manually.

Gotta tell you though it's not a good look ;)
