View Full Version : vBulletin Redirects To Other Site.

Hello all,
i am owner of a forum and using vB on it.
i got a problem today that when i try to open my site it say's nothing.
it don't even show anything and if i try to access site from PHP file it say's:
Whops We can't find the page you are looking for. In just a moment, you will be jumped to our home page.
And now i need it solved ASAP.

i couln't open.
but when we try to open it with:
http://www.crackingheaven.com/index.php
it redirects to:
http://www.apnifilmcity.com/board/
so i think problem is there anyway's,
i have checked everywhere.
there is no rule to redirect it anywhere tell me solution!

It looks like you have been hacked. Look for any index.php/html file with a redirect code in it inside the root of your forum folder. Or for a .htaccess file and check it out. Also do a checkup of your database as well.
Ask your host to check the access logs and see how your forum was hacked.
What version of vb were you using btw?

i think we hacked but i have already taken a look from cPanel,FTP and checked it from all sides but no problem,
i think problem is from vBulletin or something else i just don't know about it:(
and my version 3.8.7

Now If You Have Backup Of Your Forum Then Restore Your Backup This Is Better For You.

If you haven't changed any core files just upload a fresh set of files via ftp in ascii mode, don't bother uploading the images file, make sure you choose to overwrite.
You may have checked your files but there's definately a hack in there, probably injected eval(base64 code in there, once youre back up and running make sure you take steps to secure your site and files.

Also you need to patch your version of vbseo, thats how they got in!
