Anyone ever figure out how to get the white arrow to switch to the black arrow on navtab hover with this mod installed.

Seems like it should be an easy css edit but for the life of me I've tried but can't figure it out.

As Ricktas said, the 4.2.1 update is incompatible with this mod. If you're depending on it, you're best off delaying on deploying the patch.

If you can't work it out I suggest avoiding this add-on as the Author has gone walkabout.
Further it won't work in future versions of vB

I think the Author was burned by vB over the vB German issue.

I have no plans to upgrade to 4.2.1 any time soon. I just got my 4.2 PL3 working perfectly.

I have installed all of the plugin's I am just curious where these files go.

I solved the problem to let the product run under 4.2.1, the only problem that I have now is the conflict to make tab as drop-down menu, both of the new option in the navigation manager and the option in this mod stop working and I need it !!

But for CMS is works perfectly with sections.

I hope Andreas or any one can help me to fix this great product.

BTW, do you know any product to add second navbar to the forum?

Anyway, if there is any one want to run this product on his 4.2.1 version and don't care about drop-down menu tabs just let me know.

The mod I posted above, lets the droptab work in 4.2.1 and it also has a option for additional navbars on the site.

I have a problem where a custom tab added before uninstalling this product (to upgrade vbulletin to 4.2.1) is still there, but there's no reference to it in the standard vbulletin navigation manager. So I now have no way to remove that tab. Anyone got any ideas how I might go about fixing this?

You will have to do so through your database. Find the tab id in the database and delete it.

There is some commercial issue between vBSi and vB Germany (reseller) over vB5 -- not really relevant other than Andreas worked/works for vB Germany.

4.2.1 has dropdown menu by default, we have uninstalled this and use 4.2.1 natively

As said before, it appears as if Andreas has lost interest in vB (with apparent reason)

Correct, almost.
This mod has some good features, but it is possible in 4.2.1+ to get close.
We have.

I've looked at the code and due to how it works it is medium difficult to change (i.e. requires some refactoring/redesign and a good understanding of vB+php), but alas the license precludes that.
It has some duplicate features with 4.2.1 so they would also need to be removed.

Not in my experience, no. Not if it goes to the CMS. That is why the tab would change. If you link it directly to a url not built in to vB the tab shouldn't change.

It really is not needed as much in v4.2.0+ -- but I am a big fan of @Andreas.

I think this mod is still important, until now there is no way with the navigation manager to make tabs for individual cms sections, and this mod do, I modified the code for my own use and I get this feature works with me now, but the other functions not, I need to check it before upgrading to 4.2.2.

Yes, the latest version has issues running on anything above 4.2.0.

Beta 4 (the latest version) was released nearly 2 years ago (May 2012).

I believe this mod bugged my navbar.

I have different huge modification installed on my forums. Beside a forum it is also a place for tournaments/ladders etc. (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=238945 this mod)

It has some different .php pages like competitions.php / teams.php / ladders.php etc. It used to show a sub navbar(bellow the huge one) with options/menus etc. However since the install of this mod I believe it got broken.

For example when I go to teams.php it shows the subnav bar from the forum (new posts / pms etc.). I found a fix but it only works for some pages. If I go to navigation manager then to the competition part. It gives a line called Tab Script(s) : by default only competitions was there.

Now I can fill in teams also in there and then teams works again, however it has a cap of 20 characters so can only fill in 3 items there. I have tried to rename the define as in the php scripts I need to like 1 2 3 etc. However that also didn't fix it.

Perhaps you know a way to fix this

This mod has a huge bug. Sometimes it will make sub-menus and their links vanish.
When you set a menu under a tab to have other parents... that other parent tab will have its links vanish.

How do you keep a Tab active when you click on a link under that Tab?
Example I have a Tab called HUB and under that Tab I have a menu i made for Private Messages. When you go to the Inbox link in my menu the Forum Tab becomes active instead of my HUB tab.

Is there any update on this nav system. I had it installed on my forum and I loved it. Just updated to 4.2.5 and now my complete nav sytem is hosed. I cannot create headings.

On the beta's. How do you install them. I don't understand what to do with the files in the "upload" folder.

Any help would be appreciated.
