I just installed vBulletin for the first time (4.1.12) and it works great on all my computers except for my Vista 64.
On the left side of the home page just below the "If this is your first visit" message I'm seeing
'); loadVbCss(yuipath + '/treeview/assets/skins/sam/treeview.css'); //-->
but I don't see this on my Windows 7 or XP boxes.
has anyone seen this before?
What are you using for a browser, IE? Which version? Can you provide a link to your site?

it seems to only happen with Firefox...works fine with IE
I'm going to be upgrading Firefox and maybe that will fix it.
fyi... I see that display (or some other chunk of code ) on every site that uses vBulletin 4.x.x when I use Firefoxbut not with IE.
I just did it on a site that sells skins (don't want to give them free advertising) and I saw this at the top of the home page
'); var sidebar_align = 'right'; var content_container_margin = parseInt('278px'); var sidebar_width = parseInt('258px'); //-->

I should point out that I do use Firefox on the other boxes and it doesn't happen. Only when I use Firefox on Vista 64.....very strange
Yeah, hate to pass the buck but that kind of sounds like a FireFox bug. Strange that I haven't seen anyone else report that though.

I upgraded Firefox and that solved the problem. It also solved a few other issues like not being able to play CNN news videos from vBulletin.
Thanks.

I also have this issue when using Lunascape 6(using the Firefox Gecko engine)

Showing up on my newly updated 4.2.2 site at the top of the left hand column on my news page
this time only seen in the Camino browser.

I viewed the page source code and worked out that it was being generated by the menu widget below.
The widget which was the js enhanced one referred to "treeview/assets/skins/sam/treeview.css" in the souce code
I deleted the js enhanced widget - used a new simple html widget, and all is well.
Hope this helps
