Embedd Player for Shoutcast Radio

I've got the mod for shoutcast forumhome but I used to have a player where you can click play and pause and mute etc before but forgot how its done now..

Good question. Using the code I found from a quick search at http://www.firasarab.com/entertainment/music/radio/shoutcast.html I had no trouble pasting it into a forum block. The widget was a bit wide but more importantly I couldn't get it to actually make any noise.

Does Shoutcast offer an up to date widget?

but i cant remember how to get it so that it displays where I want it to on the forum and less importantly for it to only show while the radio/shoutcast is active

I don't think you mean "only show while active". Nobody could ever turn it on if that were the case.

But I imagine, like the Shoucast site itself, once you navigate away from the page in that same tab it will shut off.

Try putting it in one of the pre-defined ad locations if you don't want to edit templates. But vb4 makes template editing lots easier with the updates usually picking them up and restoring them automatically.

Ended up adding it in the forumhome_shoutcast_full template, all good now, thanks for the help.
