After a recent upgrade, I notice that on my forum home page the footer displays properly at the bottom of the page.

On a thread view page, the footer is displaying at the top just under the header/menu section.

Why is this? And how can I resolve it?

Check your SHOWTHREAD template.

Create a new style with no parent:

Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
Parent Style: No Parent Style
Title: Default vBulletin
Allow User Selection: Yes
Save

Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?
