Blank page until refresh

I got since yesterday a strange problem:
A lot of my users are reporting that they get an error page when loading our site. (IE cannot display the page, and similar errors on other browsers).
Once they hit refresh, it's loading normally.

Nothing has been changed on the site/settings.
I don't really have a clue what's going on. Anybody an idea?

Check your error_logs (if you don't know where they are, ask your host) as they will probably state the problem in there.

Nothing to see in the logs.
My hoster (bluehost) is not seeing anything as well.
Pretty annoying. People are getting a "connection reset" message in the browser.
Hitting refresh and all is working.

A connection reset message is a server issue.

Did you verify with your host that you even have the error_logs logging errors?

You said this only started yesterday, so what has changed since then? Did your host do anything on the server? Did you do anything on your site? Something must have changed to have this all of a sudden start.

No changes were done on our site.
The host said that they couldn't see anything in the logs, so I assume they have logs.

Now, today it was suddenly fixed. Again no changes from our side.
Worrying me a bit, because it can show up again suddenly as well.
