BBR - vB Event Forums

Hi,

vB forums 4.0.6.

Wondered if anyone can help me with this.

I have installed the BR - vB Event Forums mod which has been moved not unfortunately to the vB grave yard.

When I create a new entry in the calendar and the mod makes a thread. Any vB code is not formatted and just displayed like this...

[ b]test[ /b]

had to put the space in above as it was not showing how I was trying to show.

I've checked to ensure BB code etc is allowed within the forum it's making it's posts to and it is all set up fine. I can use BB code within that forum by making posts manually.

Onto what I wanted to ask..

I'm not using the default theme. Within the vBulletin options for this mod it says...

Use template variable for Event Details
When this is set to Yes you will need to use the variable $lv_vb_eventforums_eventdetails to display the Event Details block in the SHOWTHREAD template.

When this is set to No the Event Details block is inserted at the end of $navbits variable.

If you are running the default style, you can most likely leave this off. If you have heavily customised the SHOWTHREAD template, and/or the Event Details arn't showing properly, you will need to use this.

I'm not sure how to do this in the SHOWTHREAD template and wanted to ask if anyone can please help me on how to do this so I can get the correct display on threads that are created by this mod?

You don't need to do the SHOWTHREAD modification because this mod simply does not work in vB4. My users are not happy about that but I've spent hours trying unsuccessfully to get it to work.
