This is the nomination thread for Board of the Month of April 2012!

The rules for this thread:
Only post nominations or seconds, no chatter.
All seconds are to be placed in 1 post, with a max of 3.
All seconds should include the word "second" or "+1".
All posts must be in English.Please abide by these rules or your post will be removed.


Nominations will be accepted until the last day of April 2012 (Close to midnight- maybe a few hours earlier, maybe a few hours later. There is no exact time.)

When nominating please post the site name, URL to the forum, a short description what makes your board stand out from default vBulletin, and a reason for nomination that will motivate others to second the nomination. If the staff feels that a nomination post is too promotional it will be edited accordingly.

Any sites without a name, URL, description and reason for nomination will NOT be entered into the poll. Please ensure that your nomination is in the format:

More generally it contains members who own Chinese Crested's and other breeds looking to disseminate information and generally have fun sharing pictures, videos and life with one another. It has been the start of many small businesses. It is ad-free, provides a dedicated server for which to host unlimited pictures and supports rescue, while being the birth place for a few rescues. The owners and members have rescued and aided in the rescue of countless dogs providing them forever homes.

Reason for Nomination: Our community has been around for over 6 years. The community has not only allowed for us to develop relationships with others that have similar interests that are as tangible and real as those of our friendly next door neighbor, but truly laugh and cry when things in life happen. We have continually supported and given birth to rescues that continue to help save, foster and re-home dogs that need a forever home. Although this may not be your particular interest or breed (although many members have many breeds of dogs), our forum epitomizes not what is to be a "Board of the Month" but a "Community of the Month" which I believe is the intentions behind the software. You will not find a more loving tone amongst communities anywhere else on the internet.
