As a complete novice to vBulletin, but also as someone who wants to make his website into something very, very special, I have been searching these forums and google for ways to make not only the profiles of my vBulletin 4.1.11 better, like on other websites, but also for a way to add a photo gallery tab (and a separate video gallery tab) to not only the main page, but also each person's profile.
I have been finding nothing.
But this brings me to another question I have -- of all the vBulletin 4 plug-ins and add-ons, what in fact do you consider to be the best?

Depends what you're looking for.
Shoutbox mod is essential for any type of close-knit community
Thanks mods are always popular
Members who visited your forum past 24 hours are practically used everywhere
A points system is a good way to get community active
And a shop system is a good way to put those points to use

Can you please provide links to the best ones?
Also, does anyone else have any favorites?

I would never suggest adding a shoutbox, to many exploits for me.
Here is an old list but still relevant.

It just depends on what you want for your forum, you should never add a mod just because others say it's good. Add a mod because it'll help out your community and your users will benefit from it.

Could I tell you exactly what I'm looking for? I know exactly what I want.

That's a bit unfair. They are no more prone to exploits then any other message area- including the built-in editor.

I, personally, recommend any mods in the DBTech line.

I would never suggest adding a chatbox because it defeats the purpose of having a forum. :D
