i am much worried about my facebook connect
i have following issues with facebook connect please help me to resolve it

1.when index page of my forum appears then there is no FB connect button on the top of the page ....... screen shot given below

2.when i login to my forum after proper registration then FB connect button appears on the top , But does,nt work ............ screen shot id given below

3.and last thing that while registration FB connect button appears on registration page but doesn,t work

Create a new style with no parent:

Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
Parent Style: No Parent Style
Title: Default vBulletin
Allow User Selection: Yes
Save

Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

i have installed a purevb.com template
and i wants to use it as a default template

That's fine, but don't you want to know if it is the style will work with Facebook Connect or if it needs fixing?

Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit includes/config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Also, please remove the Facebook Forum Block from your main page while troubleshooting and all other references to facebook (like the bar near the bottom of the page).

I am having the same problem, and I too have a purevb theme. I guess it stopped working around December last year as recently a member said he forgot his password, and that Facebook Connect did not allow him to connect. When clinking on my Facebook Connect button the url just seems to reload in browser taking to no other site. When click on settings in profile and editing connection it just flickers. It also does this when trying through the register.php file. I have created new style, and also disabled plugins/hook system. Still have issue and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

You need to make sure all your templates are up-to-date with the latest Facebook Connect code.

So would I contact purevb and ask them, or is there a code I can update the templates with?
