Hi all, it seems our forum has recently encountered quite the little problem. When someone goes to create a new post and submit, it shows up with absolutely no content (i.e. no username, avatar, post count, location, etc.). Now, if I were to try and reply to that message I receive a "Sorry! This forum is not accepting posts at this time" message. As if that wasn't odd enough, when you go to reply to a thread that is already there (thread posted before these issues), it will actually show the Post Reply box as if nothing is wrong. When you try to hit submit on in the reply box, it sits idle until you literally have to just press back or close the window.
Today it seems we are getting a database error message. I will post it, as follows:

Database error in vBulletin 4.0.3:

I am stumped here. We recently lost our IT guy, so all of our current admins are scrambling to try and figure it out the best we can. Any and all help is GREATLY appreciated. Thank you for your time.

EDIT: I wanted to include that we are running vB 4.0.3.

1- never underestimate the update process of your software... 4.0.3 is not obsolete and unsupported...

2- deactivate all products in your installation... something is messing with the posting process... list us your installed products as well, so we can see the interaction with the process...

3- as you lost your IT, you could search for another... i could help here...not promoting myself though, there are tons who could do it here!

When you say "installed products", are you speaking of Plug-Ins? Please keep in mind I am in no way a technical genius when it comes to this stuff. :)

... keep in mind that you are on site where the only topic is products, plugins and so... our language to all is about this... :)

yes, i'm talking about plugins... plugins are parts of a product...
