sorry for this basic question, instead of using modules in my CMPS how do I monitor number of users online, guests online etc in the admincp.

how does vbulletin approach this.

AdminCP >> Settings >> Options >> Who's Online Options

when viewing the "Currently Active Users" block in forumhome page, you can click the link of "users online" and you have access to the list of online users with their latest action.
