Check your google-results. Maybe your board is infected and redirect people to an other site.

Has activity such as posting declined on your forum? An active forum is an attraction to others to sign up.

Changes in activity happen to everyone. Things slow down, things speed up, unless there's been changes made it's unlikely it's something to worry about in the long-run.
