How do I close the CMS (Home) and Blogs pages?

Please kindly instruct me on how to close the Home page and Blogs Page? I have been searching and searching for instructions on how to do this and can't find it anywhere.

We only want the forum page to be linked to our website, nothing else.

I know this sounds really stupid but where is the 'product manager'?

If you login to your Admin CP, and scroll down the left side you'll see Plugins & Products, expand that and you'll see Manage Products, and from there you can disable/uninstall the products.

Disable then. Don't uninstall them. If you take them out and change your mind later, it's a royal pain in the gazootenblatz to get them reinstalled.
