I need some help. My forum is not working this morning. When a user try to access the forum this error is displayed. Nothing was changed and it was working fine until a few hours ago. Can someone help?

That looks like something you need to contact your host about.

I did and they said everything is fine on their end. :(

Well, I'm not a mysql expert but if you didn't change anything I don't see how it could *not* be something on their end. I suppose it's possible that that error message shows up for other problems and it's not due to the --read-only option, but I did a search for that error and didn't see anything like that mentioned.

I agree but they are not being helpful at all (typical Godaddy support). I need to move to a better host but at this time the site is down and I need to get it up and running first.

I checked the log and it seems the last update was at 2.15 AM and after that there has been no transactions. They claim nothing was changed on their end.

Anyone run into anything like this?

Update: I called them again and got the same run around. The guy actually started talking about redirects to which I told him he has no clue what he is talking about as this seems like a user permission issue. I said its is time for me to move to a new host and hung up.

The site started working magically in 10 minutes.

I will be looking at other options for my hosting needs and I would suggest that others stay away from Godaddy. They have the worst support.
