Full posts + pictures in search results??

Hi,
I wasn't able to find anythin that fits my question, but our users are really unhappy with the way vbulletin shows search results.
Especially when searching posts of an user - I would love to have full postings plus pictures as result and not this stripped down version.

Is it possible to get full postings as search results?

Since we switched to vb4, almost 2 years ago this was always something we hoped that could be solved in an update, but it seems that it's just us we would like to have this functionality.

I'd love to have this option myself, tbh. The option to have full posts, post previews, or threads, instead of jsut post previews or threads.

I wonder how much work would be involved in coding something like that... :hmm: When I think about it, it really almost seems as if it'd be more work generating a preview than it would be to display the whole post, tbh. XD

Our previous boardsoftware had no problem with that - and our users got used to it, and they really miss it. Since we have about 20k registered users, this is some kind of a "serious" problem for us ;)
