Do I really need to use code when I type

I just copied and pasted a long section of text into my FAQ's forum. But when I review the forum it is one block of text. No formatting at all. So I was told that I have to type it all by hand in order for VB to hold the formatting. Is this true? If so I may try a different forum software or maybe one offered by my hosting service, crap I am bummed. Any one have a simple solution? I do not want to learn a code or whatever. I just would like to copy and paste....

What kind of formatting are you talksing about, is it just missing line breaks or is it a spcial layout and different fonts, colors, etc?
