3.8.7 insecure ?!

A few sites have been "hacked" today;

Is it insecure?

I don't think anyone can say for sure that any software is completely secure, but you only list two sites that both have "habbo" in the name (so I assume they're related and maybe on the same server?), so it seems much more likely that it's not vb or else there would be many more sites hacked.

Thats what im thinking, they both had some shop installed, a shoutbox also.

...or maybe "habbo" is just something I'm not familiar with. But still, if there was a known issue in the latest vb3 release we'd probably be seeing more reports.
