Automated Welcome Post

ON the old version of Vbulletin, when a new member joined my site, a automated welcome post would appear in the forum.

Is there a hack or add-on that does the same thing with this new version?

Right now I am manually going in and typing in welcome posts for all our newbies.

Also, is there a hack or add-on that will show when a newbie just registered on the bottom of the forums page?
