problem with SPAM-O-MATIC not blocking bots.

hey guys I've been having problems with the SPAM-O-MATIC not blocking spam bots, they seem to be constantly registering on my site and all I get are spam bots no human users at all and my site is dead because of no human users registering, and I'm getting sick and ****ing tired of these ****ing bots infiltrating my site.:mad:

anY advice or a better mod you guys have would really help.=/

Spam-o-matic only blocks spammers that have entries in SFS. Do you have any other human verification set? Try using "question and answer" verification with a few simple questions.

yes I do ones based off the content of my site and for some reason their still getting through but ima make sure my admins didn't remove em.=/

Questions/Problems regarding modifications/styles need to be asked in the modification/style thread. That is where the support for modification/style is - not out here in the main forums. Please note that if a modification/style is unsupported (or even if it says it is supported), you may be on your own if you chose to install it.

Same with mods of any type, for many Glowhost may work perfect and they will not desire anything else but when it comes to spam each individual site is different after time so trying another method or a combination of one or more may yield better results in your fight against spam.
