PM when somebody responds to thread?

Instead of an email, is there a hack out there that will PM you when somebody has responded to a post? Or if not a PM, even a popup window that says something like, click here to read what "blah" has said in the thread titled "blah"

Actually that would be pretty useful. I may whip something up later tonight.

No popups, methinks, but if you have it set to pop up if you get a new PM you'll get a popup anyway.

Sometimes it seems like I am the only one that even cares about being nice to my users. ;)
