Upgrade and Install service

Just about to buy the Publishing Suite licence but have a question regarding the professional upgrade and install service.

We would like to use this service but need to have reassurances that the forum will both look and function as it does currently?

During the last upgrade (which we performed ourselves) we experienced many problems with functionality and generated many user complaints. We are very keen to avoid a repeat!

WE will still need to also incorporate a new forum skin, is this possible to do alongside the upgrade and install or would I need to find an individual who can perform this work.

For the reasons mentioned above, I'm keen to 'hit them all with it at once', rather than bit by bit!

From VB3 to VB4

The professional upgrade service offered by vBulletin will not be able to help you with styles. Your VB3 style will definitely NOT work with Vb 4.x, you will be setup with the default style instead.

It is unlikely any individual will be able to give you much help with a style between versions unless they themselves are a style designer.

VB4 functions a little different from VB 3 already. Any VB 3.x mods you have most likely will not work wth VB 4.x so you will have to uninstall them first or be ready to upgrade them to Vb 4.x versions after the upgrade is complete, assuming 4.x versions of the mod exist.

Again the professional install service will not help with 3rd party mod upgrades.
