Help: How to change width to fixed? ...and more

Noob questions:

? I?d like to have a fixed width (and not adjustable/fluid) on my forum. How do I do that?

? How do I change the height of the footer?

? How do I change the placement, color and shape (corner radius) of the search field in the navbar?

Hope someone can help, since I am very soon going nuts.... :confused::up:

Another question:
How do I change the left margin of the footer and the bars that hold the Forum titles?
Right now they are all appr 20px too much to the right.

I have searched all the templates and style thingy, and nothing I do seems to work.
Help?
