Mutliple IP registration?

Is there any way to block Registration from the same IP more than twice? I've tried some 3.7x plugins (That work on 4x forums) but won't work on my 3.8x, is there a plugin for 3.8x? i've tried searching but no results. :c

Do you have a link to the 3.7 mod? I'm surprised that a mod would work with 3.7 and 4.X but not 3.8.

In general you wouldn't want to do what you're trying to do because there are reasons why different users might look like they come from the same ip (like more than one person in a household registering), but that's up to you of course.

and that's the reason i have it so that you can register up to 2. If needed, i am always willing to manually create the acc for them

So what happened when you tried it? It says at the top that it's confirmed to work with 3.8, and other people in the thread claim it works fine (although some say they have problems).

Um, basically when i've enabled it, nothing happens at all.

I try registering with multiple accounts, still works :T

Edit; i got it working! Had to disable a plugin that was blocking it (Both served the same purpose)

Oh, yeah, that could be a problem if it's not supported by the mod. You probably need to figure out where it's checking users with the same ip and change the logic a little. Or ask in the mod thread, maybe someone else already knows how it works and can tell you.
