Disabling Certain Forums

Hello,

I have 3 private forums created and was wondering how do i edit the options so that the posts or threads are not displayed in Whats New? & the recent posts or threads widget.

By default things like this use Guest permissions, so normally Guests can't see anything in your private forums anyway.

The mistake you're probably making is viewing the site from your admin login. You need to make a new member with regular member privileges and use that (or a logged-out Guest) to check things like this.
