Special thank to Webmist (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/member.php?u=127497) for listing her style as Re-usable Code (https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=233806&page=6) and for proof of concept. I completely dedicate this style to her as the original author and of proof of concept.

I personally have always enjoyed this skin, but since it hasn't been updated since July 24, 2010 (was for vBulletin 4.0.5) and the author no longer uses, vBulletin; I continued on my own to update this. But I also understood there was a desire from others who liked this skin (thus the release).

License:

I am releasing this as Open Source For anyone to expand, build upon, and openly share.

Requirements:

vBulletin 4.1.10 or newer. Not advised to try this on an older version.

How to install:

1) Backup (Always smart to do when installing anything)

2) Upload everything within the UPLOAD folder

3) Go to

AdminCP > Styles & Templates > Download / Upload Styles

4) Import

IPB-Forum.xml

* If you use the full suite, you'll need to also merge in
IPB-CMS.xml and IPB-Blog.xml (as needed)

5) Please remember to mark installed

6) All done and enjoy :)

Actual screen shots below and included within ZIP file.

Working (customized) demo can be found here: http://www.sociallyuncensored.eu/forums/forum.php?styleid=20

Official Patch Update

This update corrects a small bug in vBulletin which pushed the search button to the right

See screen shot (screen shot is of another skin, but same affect in bug)

You can either apply the update or if you wish, manually apply the fix by reverting the following style var.

navbar_tab_bevel

Then in the drop down menu, select "none"

This sounds like an Internet connection issue with either your ISP (Internet Service Provider) or with the site here being busy. vBulletin.org & vBulletin.com do go through nightly backups (I believe), so that could also be a reason for the slow download.

I was able to download the ZIP file just now in less than 5 seconds. The ZIP file also checks out without issue, using Microsoft Windows Extractor, WinRar, and 7zip.

Try again later maybe when either your ISP connects is better or generally when the site loads better for you. :)

edit: Was able to download also using a DSL Connection -vs- my normal cable. Also on Debian Linux. Site states says the file has been successfully downloaded 22 times. You figure 2 of those times were me.

You'll have to contact a member of the staff and maybe they can help you.

The issues you are having are outside the scope of this modification.

Sorry.

Follow the steps on how to install this.

And merge the patch into the them once it is installed.... Just as you would to update a skin.

What does this fix? https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=2294218&postcount=4

Originally the demo did point to a working demo.

See the screen shot for a actually view.

I'll still be updating this though and continue support for it. :)

No longer supported as I no longer use vBulletin having moved to both WoltLab Burning Board and Invision Power Board.

I give 100% permission to reuse, modify, improve, enhance, and redistribute this code as freeware to anyone, everyone, and everywhere.

Good luck :)
