Through my server I changed domain names. Meaning, my main domain was one thing, now it is another.
I didn't change the domain name on by vbulletin board before doing this. Now I can't access the forum in any which way. Changing the server back to the old domain still registers database errors.
I have no idea how to fix this.

You need to edit your database now. The settings table (easy) and the datastore table (not so easy since it is serialized).

I don't even know where to find the database to edit it.

You don't know where your database is? If you don't, then I really suggest you find someone else to do this for you.

The mysql database files? Nope, no clue where the files are to manipulate them.

I managed to find settings table. I changed bburl and homeurl to read the proper address.
I have no idea how to edit datastore.

As I said, I suggest you find someone else to do this for you if you do not know how to do it. Messing with the database incorrectly could cause real problems.

Problem fixed. Issue wasn't in the database at all.

Good point!
It was a pretty idiotic thing on my part... when I switched domains on the server, it requested to change my password. I just had to go into config.php and change the password.
