joomla vbulletin integration

new to joomla and forums, but my question is, would I be able to add a button on my menu that will launch forum within site or would this convert my entire site to a forum?

joomla allows you to create links on menu

all joomla does is allow share of username

login to joomla will also log into vbulletin thats all it does
