I have at&t at home and I downloaded filezilla client and I can't for the life of me connect through it. I have my name/pw entered and I tried using my web address and the ip address and left the port field blank. Nothing. Tried for 2 hours, went into the router and added the ip address of my laptop to FTP and it opened port 21. No luck still. I manually opened up ports 6000-7000 and still no luck. It never connected, so am I missing something here? I also tried it on 2 laptops, one being a mac and one being a windows 7 netbook.
Help?

Sometimes a server wants the username to have more than just the username, hopefully in your case it;s something simple and you can get going asap.

For example if you have a username of let's use... services

services@mysitename.com

Try it w/ @site.com after the username and let us know.

Ok I'm confused now. I have so many names/passwords when I signed up for godaddy hosting. I thought I used the mysql name/pw, but I'm guessing that is wrong.

Got it working at work. Different name/pw. Doh!
