RSS Feed List more of feed

Trying to get RSS feed to post more of fetched articles in it's forum posts. So far I have not been able to find out how to do this. How can I do this?

Have you tried adding "&fulldesc=1" to the url?

I tried adding that to the end of the url for one but it kicks me out a error saying its not well formed.

What should I change?

Sorry - if it's the only (first) parameter then you want it to be "?fulldesc=1"

...actually now that I reread this, you're trying to post a feed from a different site, right? I think I was thinking you were doing the opposite and you were talking about a feed from your own site. So unfortunately the above won't work.

I asked basically the same and it was explained to me that to get more than just the teaser the feed sends would be plagiarism. The post bot should have added the more link at the bottom of the post.

Are you using {feed:description} or {feed:content:encoded} ?

Try using the other.

Using the other one you get just one word "more" which links you to the article. :(

That short description is all that's available. Go to http://www.topix.com/rss/tech/computer-security and check the Page Source to see the XML. Some RSS feeds give you the whole article and some only a description or "teaser". That feed gives you only the latter.

As nerbert points out, if they don't supply the full content, then you can't get it.
