PM Link Question

OK so I just noticed this after a year lol. I have a welcome private message when people sign up and in the message I have a link that I want people to click to answer questions. I tried every way to do the code for the link. Am I missing something?

I think you need to give us more information: What are you putting in there, where are you trying to link to, and what happens?

I go to the admin in the options to send a new user a pm when they sign up. I then write something like welcome and a link to check out faq. The link doesn't work. I have tried all ways.

Oh, I get it now. I think you want to use the URL bbcode, like:

Link to my site (http://mysite.com)

(except I think URL should be upper case - for some reason it's appearing in lower case here).
