Thumbnails in CMS recent threads widget

I've searched and searched but can't find a mod/template edit that will allow me to show attachment thumbnails within the latest post/thread widget for vB 4 CMS. Is there any way to do this, or could someone create a simple mod? :)

You would need to edit the packages/vbcms/widgets/recentthreads.php file in order to change the query to include the attachments before you could add it to your template. The current query doesn't ask for the attachments.
