I dont know why our forum get visit from a bot that type "good post" in threads twice a week. We have a fully functional captcha but still they slip through.
So whats the next step? A moded version of captcha thats harder?
In my opinion captcha is hard already as it is for human to see.

So whats the next step?End it all.

With this:

Over 4,000 bots stopped with this since I installed it in October. NO humans inconvenienced or interfered with. Best bot stopping Mod ever, in world history.

Sweet, and so simple. so should i deactivate captcha completely or can i leave it alone for a extra protection?

Sweet, and so simple. so should i deactivate captcha completely?I never used the captcha. I use only IsBot and the random question, random question is set up like this:

All questions are merely long, convoluted instructions to copy and paste the entire question into the answer box. The answers are identical to the questions presented. For most all humans, this is a simple task. Impossible for bots. Most human spammers don't understand enough English to figure out what to do with it, and leave.

Those human spammers who do successfully register a account on my board find the account completely unable to PM anyone but admins, can't post links, can't post in visitor messages, can't post a signature or custom user title, essentially cannot spam at all. Until 20 posts. They just abandon the useless account.

I get 30 or so bots stopped daily, many failed registrations of spammers daily because of the random question, but only one or maybe two registrations per month, that are actual human spammers. And no legitimate humans interfered with or inconvenienced at all. Yes, spam can be stopped.

Good luck!

I dont have that line in register.php or am i looking in the wrong file?In the thread where you found the modification is where they want us to ask for help with it. So you can get support from the developer.

However, this is not asking for the register.php file, rather it is the "register" template in style manager.
