Hi there,
I want to know how I could integrate a Joomla based website with the V Bulletin Publishing system?
I effectively want users to be signed in to both the Joomla website and V bulletin.
I have found J fusion (http://www.jfusion.org/) as an option.
Can someone please advise me whether this has been done before.
Many Thanks

Jfusion is not an option for such an undertaking. Some people will tell you to simply use the wrapper -- a very lame way of doing an integration.
If you look on the Joomla forums, you'll see this question asked and unanswered in many posts. Nobody I can think of has spent the time to really do it yet.

For anyone who comes across this thread....I'm doing this at the moment using JFusion and so far it looks to be possible. Here's a post where someone else recently claims to have done it: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost.php?p=2399003&postcount=2

jfusion has always been and always will be junk. I'd recommend using an SSO bridge and designing a skin around vb.
Here's a sync bridge for vb. These guys are reputable and write good plugins: http://www.joomplace.com/bridges/vbulletin-duo-sync-bridge-cb.html

I use jfusion for my joomla site and vb forums and I have no problems, it works just fine and it even has the latest topics mod that you can add to the front page. Check it out:
