Code IE9 to look like firefox

See attachment first. That's my crown jewel NinjaBabe in firefox. Now that IE9 has some css3 features I'd like to find out if the way the sidebar looks in FF can be duplicated in IE9.
I know it's going to take some code jiggering and I'm up to the challenge. But I need some help as to where to start.

Be sure you have "Force Latest IE Mode" set to Yes in "Cookies and HTTP Header Options" in Settings > Options
