how do I make my forum expand to the whole page instead of the black border around it?

Try editing some stylevars... under Common look for doc_width and right around there you'll see doc_margin and you need to change what's there.

For example on left & right change it to 0 and the units set as PX and see if that does it, also ensure the doc max width and doc_width have the units blank and the value make sure you type in auto instead of 940 etc etc :cool:.
