View forum posts & Find latest posts - Results display Question

Hi

We're currently using vb4.1.7 (soon to be 4.1.8)

At the moment, when i select a forum member on the forum display page & select 'view forum posts' OR when i view a member's profile & select 'Find latest Posts' the posts are indeed displayed but the results also include text & content from within the post.

Is there any way to set things up so that such results display only general info like the post title, like in a regular seach (i.e. no additional info is displayed)

Perhaps i'm missing something in the vb settings?

I think you just want to change "showposts=1" to "showposts=0" on the search url. For the forum display it's in template memberaction_dropdown, and on the member page it's in template MEMBERINFO.

Thank's very much for the advice. We should be looking into this over the weekend & i'll reply again after we see if this fixes things for us.
