upgrade competition mod from vBulletin 3 to 4

Hello, I'm currently hoping someone may be able to upgrade this mod below to work on vbulletin 4.

The mod is competitions

The mod create hasn't been online since Feb 2010 so theres no chance of asking him to carry our this upgrade

Then there's no real chance of it being upgraded since 1.) the modification isn't marked as "Re-usable Code" and 2.) it is required to have the permission from the original author to re-release a modification

Agh, damn, I'll try sending him a PM to see if he can/will answer. I don't think its been marked as not allowed to upgrade or modify code though, and its not like its going to be for sale if you see what I mean?

Well the thing is vwdforum, at the top of the mod it does not have "Re-Usable Code" in the options as HMBeaty stated so you can't update and try re-releasing it here or elsewhere however you could update it yourself just for your site :cool:.
