Hello world,
A member in my forum had made a suggestion regarding the WHAT'S NEW page in vB4.1 forums. I 'm not sure if it exist or not. But I do think is a handy and awesome idea.
So most of the usual visitors or the active members now started using the What's new page to save time looking around. But what if there's a really good thread posted today but it was hidden in the (what's new) page due to high posting or high traffic or some other reasons. Why not having some option that help these good threads shine using that (what's new) page.
an admin or moderator marks that post/thread as featured. it get into the what's new page just like the sticky threads but as featured for a day or a week then it automatically un-stick itself after the period passes.
I 'm not sure if something like this exists or even possible if not existing.
Hopefully someone can help with is. I think it will help members to be motivated if they knew their posts/threads has been marked as featured.
Regards
