Basic Gallery

Is there any mod that is basically just a gallery for the website, not a user album but, for example, I have a website about car events, and I want to upload each event to the websites gallery.

It does seem like there is a lack of a basic site gallery that isn't a load of garbage. PhotoPost is overpriced and poorly coded. I would love to make my own site gallery plugin, I don't have the time to do it though.
