Plugin to add extra tab to profile page

Is there a plugin I can buy or download that will add an extra tab to the profile page?

There is no plugin that I know of. There is an article in the vB4 Articles forum though so go find that and just follow the instructions.

I had found that already however I worry using that I will have to do it everytime I update vbulletin. Will it not get over written?

If I recall, the article has you create a plugin for your tab. Plugins are not something you need to redo everytime you do an upgrade. If it were a template edit, then yes, you would need to redo that everytime you do an upgrade.

Ok we managed to get he tab added now Im wondering how do we add profile fields to it? I dont see where to do this with the new tab.

You add them by adding the code to add them. You will need to grab the code from where it already is and copy/paste it into your plugin.
