a click trough system

i got a little problem..
something like made on cashwarshq.com , the click through system for ikonboard.
you can click on a link, to a sponsor that is, and then you wil get a point. this is being done through the ikonboard.
we recently switched to vbb, and now we can't use this script no more :(
can someone create such a script? it would be very handy !
it would be something like using the cookies, to add a point to your name , and a table that displays how many points every member has. and then a table for on the main page, that lists the top 10 "supporters"

uhm, well it opens a new page, uhm, bannermania i think...
the main idea is, that when someone clicks a link, it adds a point to a list for that user, using the userdatabase of vbb.
it sounds complicated, and it is :P
well, i know it can be done, caus it was possible for ikonboard..
someone would just click the link, get a point, and the top 10 supporters list would be updated.

ohw before i forget, the link would be on the main page,m as well as the top 10 supporters list, not on the forums page..
