hide userfields from other users

I have userfields that get street, address, etc. I need them to show up on the about me for that user but if another user views that profile i do not want the other user to see. I have made it private but then the user does not see it. I am sure it is something simple. I just want the user with the profile to fill it out but not the others users to see what she/he filled out.

I want them to see the profiles . I have added extra fields in the about me. I want the person to sign in to fill them out. But i do not want user b to view the profile and see what the original person put in.

Your solution is not applicable. Unless i am missing something up.

I just used the userfields manager and added them.
