SMF News section can we add one?

Is it possible to add a news section like they have on SMF, so simple text can be shown before the main forums?

I think that's just a notice and they've changed the title from "Notices" to "News"

Thanks for the reply Nerbert, as you will have guessed I dont really know Vbulletin as yet still trying to get to grips with the basic's

If it is a notice, how do you get it to appear like that then? All the notices I have tried show as one line of text.
It does look like a Forum but with free txt that is editable in a better way than VB, however I do get the feeling that it is a seperate area that you can type txt into.
I dont know if that can be created.

You have to use html to get line breaks and paragraphs.

EDIT: Oh, I see what you mean -- notices don't have a header (they did in vB3). You'll have to add one in the appropriate template
