So I added a new user profile field. I want to alert users who designate certain criteria in the new user profile field, when someone posts containing a tag which matches the input from user profile field. How I notify them is important as well, but lets start at the basics, has anyone created a mod like this yet?
To write this script, I would need to do a regular expression search over the array $userdata, for all users, where is this array located in the database, or what suggestions would you give to write this script?
And lastly, if its too hard to do, and I have to pay someone, what price do you think is good for making something like this?
