Tapatalk installation

I posted on their forums as well, but no one has responded.

I upload the whole .zip file and extracted it into my forum root. I set up all the site information and now I am stuck on "verifying installation status". I have folder permissions set to chmod 755.

Verifying installation? I don't ever remember seeing that. All you should have to do is upload the entire Tapatalk folder to where vbulletin is installed. Modify the templates, then register your site at tapatalk.com. Should take less then 5 min.

Under the "my forum" sections, I believe it's the step before getting it published.

Instead of posting, did you try searching and reading their forum? I know when we see the same question posted the 40,000th time here we tend to ignore it.

I too had an easy time installing it, but I extracted locally and uploaded the folder into my forum folder, then did my template edit.
