Could someone come up with a hack that would let you compare the custom template with the orginial template while in the admin control panel?

Amazing, I was JUST thinking about this! :eek:

I found a hack called View Templates Inline or something like that, but it's not good enough.

I'm always using Beyond Compare, but it's not very convenient either.

yes exactly, I also use beyond compare it is great for the php files, but if you have alot of custom templates you have to copy and paste them each in notepad or something save them as text files new and old and then compare. What a pain in the rear end.
