Design is basic almost out of the box with a few image changes nothing special but it is clean apart from the header image is out of line..

Try to hide the most easy recognizeable default vB elements.. Forum icons, those stubby arrows etc.. subtle changes will help, pretty nice header

Agree. The design could use some changes. One things about vb3, though it's a good piece of software, the default template is just horrible. Try to move your theme away from the default like mentioned above.
